It’s great to be back on the water for the first trip of the year! The action was steady, and if the weather holds, fishing conditions will only improve in the coming weeks.

On this trip, we focused on catfish, and they didn’t disappoint. The bite was consistent, with fish coming from deeper holes and near structure. Cut bait and live bait worked well, bringing in a solid mix of sizes. Water temperatures are still on the cooler side, but as they rise, expect even better results.
